Are you a licensed contractor?
Yes. Kylä Home Services operates as Kyla Services LLC under Minnesota Residential Building Contractor license BC790809, and carries general liability insurance. A certificate of insurance is available on request.
What areas do you serve?
The Twin Cities metro, with a focus on the north and east metro: Lino Lakes, Blaine, Circle Pines, Centerville, Shoreview, Arden Hills, North Oaks, White Bear Lake, Vadnais Heights, Roseville, Maplewood, Saint Paul, Forest Lake, Woodbury and Stillwater. Can grab bars be installed if there’s no stud in the right place?
Usually yes. In older Minnesota homes the stud rarely lands where the bar is actually needed. The fix is blocking or a backing plate behind the wall surface, so the bar is anchored to structure rather than to drywall or tile alone. We identify this before quoting so it isn’t a surprise mid-job.
Do I need to know what I want installed before I call?
No. Most people call because something has become difficult or unsafe, not because they know the product. Kylä looks at how the home is actually used and recommends which improvements matter most, and in what order.
Can a discharge planner, care coordinator or OT refer a client?
Yes. Kylä works with hospital and skilled-nursing discharge planners, care coordinators, case managers and occupational therapists. License and insurance documentation is available for vendor files on request — just ask.
